Safe Patient Handling Kaleida Health System

Nina Nobile has been our Sr. Risk Engineering Consultant for the past 10 years while she was employed by Zurich Insurance Company.  I have worked with her exclusively on many safety initiatives to help prevent Worker’s Compensation claims and reduce our risk of employee work related injuries.   Nina’s has always given us 100% of her focus.  She made us feel like we were her only clients.  She was always willing to provide us the tools we needed to promote workplace safety. Nina also made several trips to Buffalo every year to round in our hospitals to trouble shoot any areas that had injuries.  She always provided great analysis and solutions of how to prevent those accidents from happening again.

It was my absolute pleasure to work with Nina.  She was always so warm, kind, and willing to help me in any way I needed her to.  It was a huge loss for our company to lose her as our Loss Control Consultant.  Her dedication to our account will be very hard to replace.  Anyone would be lucky to have Nina on their team.

For the past 10 years, Nina has provided safety consultant services for our clients in the industries of manufacturing, medical practices, and research laboratories. She is very thorough and professional during her inspections to review for any safety related issues, and she is always available to help answer any questions. I highly recommend her services for any company that needs help with their safety program.

Nina Nobile,  while employed by Zurich Insurance Company visited our New York clients to provide safety consultation, to assist them to comply with NY Rule 59.  I have worked with Nina, as she was our dedicated consultant, whenever we required a site visit to our client.  She provided very detailed safety programs.

It was my absolute pleasure to work with Nina.  She was always willing to provide detailed explanation of all her visits, when required.   I am sorry she no longer works for our WC (workers' compensation) carrier but am glad she is now branching on her own.

I have worked with Nina in multiple healthcare settings.  She is very passionate interacting with both management and frontline staff to mitigate  employee injuries.  She is a great listener and communicator which leads  to positive outcomes.  She is proficient in performing environmental assessments,  gap analysis and has an exceptional skill set to analyze trends in data.  Nina's devotion and accountability to foster safety would be a great asset to any organization.

In her capacity as a Risk Engineer, Nina performed several onsite assessments at our corporate facility over the last few years. There’s no doubt risk assessments can be stressful for a company, and if you happen to be the newly appointed Director of Safety at the time, it can also make you feel personally vulnerable and exposed. However, the first time Nina came to our facility and helped me evaluate our processes and procedures, the anxiety I felt was met by a compassionate and educated person who understood the impact of her presence. Nina can lead you towards seeing areas for improvement without her directly telling you (but she’s not afraid to spell it out if you don’t pick up on it). She offers great suggestions and helps to develop realistic and achievable goals, and at every turn, she’s right there to provide you with the resources you need to accomplish them. She helped me feel more confident in my role by being a constant source of information and support when I needed it. Nina doesn’t just show up for a day or two and pick apart a safety program, she makes it a part of herself and continues to think about ways to help a company improve an overall safety culture.
